Change in Animal Control Services, August 15, 2026

The Town of Martell would like to inform residents of a change in animal control services, effective August 15, 2026.
Beginning August 15, Companion Animal Care & Control (CACC) will provide animal control and impound services for the Town of Martell.
What to Do if You Have an Animal Control Issue
Residents should continue to call the Pierce County Sheriff's Office non-emergency number at 715-273-5051. The dispatcher will guide you based on the situation and coordinate with Companion Animal Care & Control as appropriate.
If an animal is impounded, it will be housed at the Companion Animal Center, 1480 Helmo Ave N, Oakdale, MN 55128. The facility can be reached at 651-200-3054.
Residents who have lost or found a pet are encouraged to first look for identification, check with neighbors, and post in local community groups. A lost or found animal should also be reported through the local law enforcement non-emergency number.
